Brothers

These little men were so stinkin cute!  I had such more fun chasing them around.  Look at some of their expressions, just makes you smile!  I can't wait to have more time with them down the road :-) Brothers who will have a lasting bond for life and I am so lucky that I got to capture them when they were small!!

Andrea + Andrew + Kennedy +Louie

I had the privilege of taking photos of this beautiful family!  I met Andrea in such a unique way this last summer.  We both took a class at one point in our journey from Kellee Laser.  Kellee offers classes on how to use your camera locally here in Toledo, OH. She gave us the tools that started us of!  After we both took her class we decided to take our love of photography and actually make a business out of it.  As we both continued to grow in our quest for our passion of photography we ended up at the same workshop this summer in Chicago, IL.  We couldn't believe we both took from Kellee and were in Chicago together and lived in Toledo, OH!  It really is such a small world!  There is always a plan!  We just don't always know what it is and just have to take the journey and embrace it :-)  So excited Andrea for our next one!!!!

Older Kids are so much fun to Photograph!

Look at these brown eyes!  Just love them!  I loved the coordinating of these outfits and the great colors of the outdoors!  Bigger kids are a lot of fun to take pictures of for so many reasons, but the Number 1 reason is they listen :-)  They don't do all the little things little people do, but they do give the exacts of the perfect picture!  I really enjoyed this family!

New family to Ottawa Hills

This family recently moved from Tennessee to Ottawa Hills over the summer.  A good friend of mine recommended them to me!  I was so very gracious as they were such a darling family to photograph and were a ton of fun.  Mom and I went back and forth over the weather of the day of the shoot trying to see if the outdoor session would work!  I loved the lighting and it ended up being a perfect day! 

A little about me!

I wanted to explore a little with my family today and head downtown today to a local art store.  A friend of mine had suggested that I go to Shared Lives Studio on St. Clair.

Shared Lives Studio provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to be creative and share their talent and abilities with the community through art. The artists of Shared Lives Studio can create personalized and customized pieces of art. 

I had an appointment with a parent to deliver her daughter's Senior Pictures at 10 am, a CD to mail off and a photo shoot at 2 pm along with my husbands Michigan game at Noon.  Moral of the story was my window was narrow to take my family downtown for my little adventure.  As we were heading downtown to St. Clair there were an ab dunce of cars, cops and road blocks.  We ended up going to the Erie Street Market to park.  As we pulled in I noticed that their Farmer's Market was set up.  I was so excited, because I really just wanted to go to the Art Store and now all of a sudden we were going to a farmer's market, watching a parade and an art store!  My exact words were "Jackpot"!  I was just so excited that our little exploring trip turned into a full blow adventure!  Not only did we wonder, we picked up fresh bread, apples and sweet potatoes for a yummy dinner.  Since we were going downtown I did bring my camera just in case something might pop up and lucky me, something did!  I thought I would share a few of my photos from our little trip!
